A large and lively town centre pub in the centre of Bolton. It was refurbished in 2014 and renamed after the 18th century painter and satirist William Hogarth and themed, without any association with the man himself, as a Victorian gin palace.
By day the signs are individual box letters in a traditional font mounted to aluminium panels. For the night time effect the text has white Halo illumination to give a warm glow to the text edges.
There is a double sided pictorial, amenity signs, and menu boxes as well as 2no black awnings mounted to the frontage.
The LED effect is continued with twinkle lights dotted in the box hedging at either side of the main fascia’s.
